Where in the world are the VNO's going?

Soooo. You want to see where we are going in the land of Freedom Fries and Fiats? Follow the link to the Google Maps site and you will see!

We arrive at Orly Airport on the south side of Gay Pareeee and pick up our rental car. In keeping with our time tested strategy of arriving in Europe early in the morning and resisting the urge to sleep until 9pm local time, we will immediately begin seeing the sights. Our first stop will be in the Chateau region to see, yep, you guessed it, a whole mess o' chateaux.

We will stay in Amboise the first night. From there, we will make our way to Italy via Clermont-Ferrand, Avignon, Nice (or is that Nice?) La Spezia (where we will tour the Cinque Terra; a series of ancient towns basically hanging from the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranian Sea). Then to Lucca where we will make day trips to Pisa, the Carrara marble quarries and other cool places in that neighborhood.

From Lucca we will arrive in Manciano in southern Tuscano. (Tuscany for all you rednecked non Italian speakin' colonials.) We will spend a week in our fabulous Villa, taking day trips to even more really cool places in that neck of the woods. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot the absolute best part! We will meet my Mommy, and two of my other CooCoo for CocoaPuffs sisters in Manciano so they can party like rock stars like it's 1999 with us! They will stay a week with us there and when they head back to Roma (Rome for all you rednecked...well you get the picture), Jackie and I will head north to Parma with a stop in Firenza (Florence for all you...see above).

From Parma we will go through Torino (Turin...you know, shroud city) and then onward toward Lausanne Switzerland. From Lausanne, we will head toward still Gay Pareee, with a stop in the lovely hamlet of Dijon, land of sunshine, mustard and the fancy pants university at which the Joli Jacqueline spent much of her formative college time learning to speak French and apparently German. Or maybe she learned something about a German. I can't remember.

Anyway, we fly out of Orly again with our final destination of Newark and another splendid night at Villa Riley in Hackettstown.

Hold the phone....! You let JIM write on the blog??? I assume Jackie proofread, though, cause there are non mistakes in spelling or grammar. But I did see some cheese dip dripped on the page. Jim's signature, I imagine.

dude. katie. "joli jacqueline"? did you miss that? that pretty much looks like a REAL mistake (as opposed to the NON mistakes you found) to me. Unless you consider our mother a man. Then, yeah, there are NON mistakes in spelling and grammar.

Jim has to write the blogue because he's not allowed to speak whilst in Europe. (see comment on Oct. 28th entry)

it depends, of course, on whether the meds "required" are all medical a opposed to recreational.

Either way the answer is roughly equal to the quantity of meds you'd need for a trip if its was being taken during the 70"s. Substitute "illicit" for "prescribed".

Listen, Kristin. Just because you're in graduate school does not mean you are allowed to parenthetically reference yourself. That's just arrogant.

P.S. I really enjoy the word verification exercise we're required to do to post a comment here. Right now, mine is flacali. I can't wait to try to read one of these when I'm drunk one night.
